A professional entertainer since age 17,
Steve Corning started his career under the mentorship of veteran performers Jason & Matt Tardy, taking part in a lineage of entertainers that dates back 6 generations. He also spent his early adult summers studying physical movement, improvisation, and stage skills at the world-renowned Celebration Barn Theater in his hometown of South Paris, Maine.
Steve started touring with his own one-man juggling & stunt show (Showtime Steve) in 2012, and over the past decade has become one of the most in-demand variety acts in New England. Steve also performs regularly with Jason Tardy in their duet juggling & comedy show Off The Wall, and with his creative partner Shane Miclon as Double Or Nothing. In 2024 Steve hit a total of 1,500 career performances, across 14 states and international waters.
In 2012 Steve began working as a professional comedy improviser with Mainely Improv, and in 2018 joined the all-star cast of Chamber of Comedy. In 2019 Steve and fellow improviser Bob LeBlanc, co-founded the multi-media comedy troupe Balderdash Academy. Through the COVID-19 pandemic, Balderdash Academy established a core fanbase by continuing to entertain online through video series and podcasts.
Also in 2012, Steve published his first electronic album under the moniker ThinkFishTank, a project that he continues to this day. In 2024 he self-published his 4th album "What's Your Vice?" to critical success, and features rappers, vocalists, and producers from across the globe. As TFT, Steve has scored music for award-winning short films, worked with brands like Coca-Cola, and even got to write the theme song for the City of Lewiston, Maine. You can catch him dropping EDM sets at venues across the East Coast, and producing regular music events at clubs in Portland, Maine. In 2023 Steve and Shane Miclon created Enter The Fish Tank, a live performance that showcases Steve's original music, visuals, and light design in tandem with Shane's world-class technical juggling.
